Man kam zu diesem Datum, als man die verschiedenen Geb\u00e4ude und deren astronomische Ausrichtungen n\u00e4her betrachtete. Man schlussfolgerte, dass die verschiedenen Peillinien an der Kalasasaya und dem <a href=\"https:\/\/www.palaeoseti.de\/das-sonnentor-von-tiwanaku-2\/\">Sonnentor<\/a> nur dann exakt mit den Sternen \u00fcbereinstimmen, wenn man die <span id=\"wiki-tooltip-1\" data-tooltip-content=\"#wiki-tooltip-box-1\" data-wiki_num=\"1\" data-wiki_id=\"-1\" data-wiki_title=\"\" data-wiki_section=\"\" data-wiki_base_url=\"\" data-wiki_url=\"\" data-wiki_thumbnail=\"default\" data-wiki_nonce=\"86930c5436\"><a class=\"wiki-tooltip\" href=\"\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" onclick=\"return isClickEnabled( 'click', '' );\">Pr\u00e4zession<\/a><\/span> einrechnet. Durch das leichte Schwanken der Erdkugel ver\u00e4ndert sich auch der Sternenhimmel leicht. Dies f\u00fchrt dazu, dass die Linien heute ins Nichts zeigen, jedoch vor 15000-10000 Jahren eine bestimmte Ausrichtung besa\u00dfen <sup>[<a href=\"#footnote_1_432\" id=\"awef_ident_1_432\" class=\"footnote-link footnote-identifier-link\" title=\"G. Hancock, Fingerprints of the Gods .\">1<\/a>]<\/sup>. Des Weiteren datiert Posnansky die Stadt auf das Alter von 15.000 Jahren, da damals der Wasserspiegel des Titicacasees bis vor die Stadt reichte und Tiwanaku damit zu einer Hafenstadt machte<sup>[<a href=\"#footnote_2_432\" id=\"awef_ident_2_432\" class=\"footnote-link footnote-identifier-link\" title=\"A. Posnansky, Tihuanacu. The cradle of American man.\">2<\/a>]<\/sup>. Man kam zu dem Schluss, dass die traditionelle Datierung nur die Wiederbesiedlung der lokalen Indios zeigt, die viele tausend Jahre sp\u00e4ter, um 600 n. Chr. in die Stadt der G\u00f6tter einzog. Die K\u00fcstenlinie, die Posnansky erkannt haben will, ist nichts weiter als eine Talwand des Flusses, der sich hier eingeschnitten hat. Der Abschnitt des Titicacasees in diesem Gebiet hat sich in den letzten 100.000 Jahren nicht ver\u00e4ndert<sup>[<a href=\"#footnote_3_432\" id=\"awef_ident_3_432\" class=\"footnote-link footnote-identifier-link\" title=\"C. M. Clapperton, Nature of environmental changes in South America at the Last Glacial Maximum 1993, Vol. 101, No. 3\/4 (1993),189.\">3<\/a>]<\/sup>. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"Normal tm6\"><span class=\"tm7\">Jedoch hat sich Tiwanaku sehr ver\u00e4ndert. Nicht nur, dass es in den vergangenen Jahrzehnten, im Zuge gut gemeinter Rekonstruktionen zu ausgedehnten Umbauten kam. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"Normal tm6\"><span class=\"tm7\">Die Stadt Tiwanaku, wie auch die Tempelbezirke Puma Punku und Kalasasaya wurden seit ihrem Untergang um das Jahr 1000 immer wieder als Steinbruch missbraucht. Das Milit\u00e4r verwendete zu allem \u00dcberfluss, die Stadt f\u00fcr Ziel\u00fcbungen und die Eisenbahn verarbeitete viele der Steine zu Schotter f\u00fcr ihre Bahntrasse<sup>[<a href=\"#footnote_4_432\" id=\"awef_ident_4_432\" class=\"footnote-link footnote-identifier-link\" title=\"G. G. Fagan (Hrsg.), Archaeological fantasies. How pseudoarchaeology misrepresents the past and misleads the public (Abingdon u. a. 2007).\">4<\/a>]<\/sup>. Besonders das Sonnentor und die Kalasasaya, mussten mehrere Umbauten \u00fcber sich ergehen lassen. <\/span><span class=\"tm7\">Aber gerade diese Bauwerke wurden von Posnansky und Hancock daf\u00fcr verwendet, der Stadt ein anderes Alter als z. B. durch die C14 Daten belegte Zeiten, zu geben.
